Yasuhiro Kawabe

Attorney-at-law in Japan, 2012
Patent Attorney, 2017

Yasuhiro Kawabe has handled a large number of intellectual property disputes, mainly litigations, since his admission as an attorney at law. His past cases include unusual types of litigation such as requests for registration of patent transfers and defense of abuse of rights based on violation of antitrust laws, JP domain dispute cases, and patent seizure cases.

Believing that IP litigation needs to be advanced in order to promote IP, and that in order to do so, IP attorneys need to be more readily accessible, Mr. Kawabe actively engages in activities to promote interaction among the entire IP industry by hosting study sessions and social gatherings with patent attorneys who are experts in IP.
