Hideto Kanda

Attorney-at-law in Japan, 2015 (currently non-practicing)

Hideto Kanda has represented clients in more than 20 IP litigation cases since he registered as an attorney at law. While there are many attorneys at law and patent attorneys with a specific technical background in the intellectual property field, Mr. Kanda is not predisposed towards any one field and tries to unravel the technical intricacies of IP to make the technology more accessible for judges.

On a day-to-day basis, he handles contract drafting and legal advice, and his strength lies in his ability to provide prompt services, with a commitment to reply within half a day of receiving a request.

In addition to his intellectual property practice, Mr. Kanda has been involved in a wide range of corporate matters, including employment issues, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, personal information protection law and data protection, and advertising laws (e.g., Premiums and Misleading Representations Act, Pharmaceutical Law, etc.) to meet the needs of clients.
